Chicago Midwest Chapter

Regional Conference 2020

We’re moving to a virtual format!
New Price – $139.00!

June 27-28, 2020

You’re invited to join us for the June 27-28 educational event. Because of uncertainty about travel and gathering restrictions, we’ve decided to leverage technology and take the entire event virtual!

We’ll miss being physically together in Chicago, but also appreciate the advantages:
• the convenience of learning from home
• the savings on travel costs
• the reduced conference pricing ($139 instead of $250)
• and, of course, keeping everyone safe and healthy

We are keeping the content intact but rearranging the timeline a bit (who could sit thru 8 continuous hours on ZOOM, right?).

We’ll still get to:
• learn from all our great presenters
• practice new skills in small-group sessions
• discover new resources from our exhibitors
• earn the relevant CEU credits
• network/brainstorm with fellow consultants

More details to follow – can’t wait to “see” you in June.

Nancy (Nix-Rice) Litz, AICI Chicago Midwest Chapter Vice President of Programs/Education
Beth Divine Gastineau, MA, AICI Chicago Midwest Chapter President

It’s not just what you know—it’s also how you communicate that knowledge to your client and create added value with every interaction, especially in today’s new virtual client relationships. In this session you will learn how one of our industry’s true icons markets her services and converts prospects into long-term clients. Elaine will share steps to instantly assess the client’s physical characteristics—whether in person or remotely—and show him/her immediate results to establish your credibility. We’ll learn advanced techniques to analyze body attributes, coloring and personality to steer clients to their optimal clothing and accessories, regardless of age, size or budget constraints. This highly-interactive session will give participants plenty of opportunity to practice consulting in a Zoom environment.

One of only 12 Certified Image Masters worldwide, Elaine has thirty years of experience working with women and men across the globe in personal image, body shape and clothing style, custom color analysis and cosmetic makeovers. When Elaine attempted to retire last year, her devoted clients protested so vehemently that she agreed to return to consulting. She has presented at countless AICI conferences and chapter events, and presents a premier training program for new image consultants at her studio location in Ft. Worth TX.

Within AICI, Elaine has been a visionary leader. As Treasurer she guided the International Board through the financial transition from volunteer to professional management and as President she laid the foundation for today’s truly international association.
